Comments on redesign of the Main Page[]
Definitely looking good. I was thinking that we might want to encourage other ecovillages to participate by listing them prominently on the main page. Since the only one participating so far is the Yarrow EcoVillage, it would be the only listing at first. However, if we gave encouragement to other ecovillages to add their own pages, it might just take off.
We could even send invitations to ecovillages to do that. I think we can also now redefine the intent of the wiki by making it clear that it is open to all, not just those ecovillages that participated in the NA Conference in 2004. Michael 20:21, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- CQ: Are you suggesting that we keep the content of the former main page in a box on the right hand side of the page? Somehow that seems it should be another page. But if so, we will need to revise the text. After all, this is not the wiki of the Global Ecovillage Network. Michael 22:14, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
